Point Launches New Web Site for DocumentLink™

Following on the heels of the January release of DocumentLink™ 2.0, Point Software launched a new Web site dedicated entirely to the discussion of the DocumentLink electronic document management system (EDMS). This site, www.documentlink.net, went live on February 9.

The primary reason for the development of a Web site separate from the main PointSW.com site is that DocumentLink™ has evolved to be much more than a traditional EDMS. As eluded to in the January 2009 issue of The Point, DocumentLink™ has become a multipurpose tool for managing and using information. In order to adequately explore the functions of DocumentLink™, it needed its own platform.

The www.documentlink.net site provides details about DocumentLink™ through a number of different mediums in order to highlight various aspects of the application. The site features a video overview that discusses the question “What is DocumentLink™?”, a concept slide presentation, and a return on investment (ROI) analysis.
